Holiday 4 :D
[09/10/2009]

Hi-res Canon G10 edition!

This one is pretty big, so give it a while... it took FAR too long, but urrr, it's been a long, hot day and i'm full of malaysian and japanese food and waiting until we go out for dinner so i don't mind :D

Check out the HK streets, there's about a billion shops, and a billion people, and a tiny side walk:

The trains are awesome, I love the octopus card, it's the most perfect train system ever. I hope they fix up our trains like this...

Heading down to the computer district! Walking along the super long escalator walk that heads up the mountain!

Yay! Double decker trams! Hahaha i fricken learned that here, when the walk sign turns to red, it means CARS ARE COMING NOW. They don't f**k around with their traffic here...

Sad fish!!! He has chillis on his head!!!

Awesome markets! Retarded face :D

Mwahahahah roasted pigeons!!!! They're god damn delicious...

They have some epic fish markets, with lots of flapping live fish, fish live butchering, still beating fish hearts layed out.... pretty much, if you're in HK, it sucks ass to be a fish.

Or a crab:

Yep, being a fish sucks. By the way, you can't see it but the head is STILL MOVING. The fish chef likes to display the heart still beating to show it's still fresh or whatever. I like to think he's some sort of fish Highlander

Markets!

More marktets! I love the streets here.

They use bamboo for scaffolding here, it's really, really strong. Looks awesome too!

Our hotel view at night:

The streets are packed, and if you look up, you can see where everyone lives :D

Mmmmmm BBQ goose..... The egg noodles here are the best, I want more.

Hahahaha tourist trap markets! If you look foreign (GWIELO!!), they like to grab you by the arm and try and force you to buy something hahaha

Going through the train stations!!!! It's so easy, I could get from the shopping area to our hotel room in about 12 minutes flat...

Computer arcade!! They have the best computer shopping areas...

Heheheh again, looking up, you can see apartment after apartment, and washing hanging out the window...

Cristen wants the book on the bottom:

Mong Kok (pronounced more like 'wong gong') is where all the shopping is... it's pretty awesome.

Cristen loves Godiva chocolate, it's really expensive. I had one, it tastes like chocolate.

Mmmmm Cristen has beef brisket, I have pork tendons with sweet and sour sauce. Food is pretty cheap here.

The steamed milk place, Cristen loooves it. I wish I could eat more lactose...

Our hotel view at day!

The pool and Kowloon park next door!

The messy apartment, and our loot.... so much loot....

Mong Kok, Nathan St at night!

Our laadeedaa hotel lobby, ver nice.

Oh look! It's a car covered with diamonds! The security guy looked nervous when I leaned in closer to take photos, so I didn't want to risk pulling off my shirt and grinding against it groaning 'OH YEAAAAAAHHHHHHH.... MONNNEEEEEYyyYYYY YEEEAAAAHHHHH.."

Back to KL! Bai bai HK....

Back in KL for the end of our trip, then back to shi-- good ol' melbourne....

So concludes todays pictures! Hopefully when I get home to a faster internet connection, I'll chuck a video montage up too!
